1. Programme Definition
The China Business Connection Programme is a specialized B2B service designed exclusively for businesses seeking to develop commercial relationships in the Chinese market. The programme consists of:
- Business matchmaking services tailored to participant company profiles
- Facilitated introductions to relevant industry partners
- Arranged meetings with Chinese businesses and government officials
- Market entry consulting and strategic guidance
- Professional interpretation services during business engagements
- Business development support and follow-up assistance
As part of our commitment to facilitating a productive business development experience, complementary accommodations in a 4/5-star hotel and local transportation for business engagements are provided to participating companies.
2. Eligibility for Participation
The China Business Connection Programme is exclusively available to:
- Registered businesses and companies
- Independent professionals operating in a business capacity
- Business representatives with appropriate authorization
- Industry associations and trade organizations
All participants must provide their business registration details, VAT number (where applicable), and company information when registering for the programme.
Note: The programme is designed for business purposes only and focuses on commercial relationship development.
3. Programme Services and Components
3.1 Core Business Services
- Company-specific business matchmaking based on your profile and objectives
- Pre-arranged meetings with potential business partners, suppliers, or clients
- Facilitated introductions to relevant government officials

- Market entry strategy consultation
- Professional interpretation during all business meetings

3.3 Complementary Provisions

- Working meals during scheduled business activities
International flights to and from China are not included and remain the responsibility of the participant.
4. Fee Structure
The standard fee for the China Business Connection Programme is €1,750 ex VAT per participant.
4.1 Fee Inclusions
This fee covers all core business services, support services, and complementary provisions outlined in Section 3.
4.2 Additional Costs
Participants are responsible for:
- International flights to and from China
- Personal expenses and incidentals
- Any specialized interpretation services beyond scheduled meetings
- Extended stays beyond the programme period
- Business meetings in additional cities not covered in the standard programme
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
- Deposit payment of €500: Due upon registration and confirmation
- Remaining balance: Due no later than 30 days before the start of the programme
5.2 Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:
- Bank transfer to our designated business account
- Credit card payment through our secure online portal
- Official company purchase order (for pre-approved businesses only)
5.3 Invoicing
All participants will receive:
- An invoice for the deposit payment
- A final invoice for the remaining balance
- VAT will be applied where applicable according to EU regulations
- Companies outside the EU may qualify for VAT exemption with valid documentation
6. Cancellation and Changes
6.1 Cancellation by Participant
The following cancellation terms apply:
- Cancellation more than 45 days before the programme: Full refund less €200 administrative fee
- Cancellation 30-45 days before the programme: 50% of total fee refunded
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the programme: No refund available
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
6.2 Participant Substitution
Registered companies may substitute the designated participant with another representative from the same company at no additional cost, provided that notification is given at least 14 days prior to the programme start date.
6.3 Programme Changes
Zatino reserves the right to make changes to the programme schedule, business meetings, or other arrangements when necessary due to circumstances beyond our control or to improve the quality of business connections. Significant changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
7. Participant Responsibilities
7.1 Business Documentation
Participants are responsible for:
- Providing accurate company and business information
- Submitting company profiles and business objectives by specified deadlines
- Bringing appropriate business materials and documentation
- Preparing adequately for scheduled business meetings
7.2 Travel Requirements
Participants are responsible for:
- Valid passport with appropriate duration of validity
- Necessary business visa or entry permission if applicable to their nationality
- Appropriate business travel insurance
- Arriving in Beijing on the designated programme start date
7.3 Business Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Attend all scheduled business meetings and engagements
- Conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with local business customs
- Respect the cultural practices and business etiquette of China
- Provide feedback on business meetings to facilitate follow-up support
8. Liability Limitations
8.1 Business Outcomes
While Zatino strives to facilitate valuable business connections, we cannot guarantee:
- Specific business outcomes or successful transactions
- The financial viability of introduced business partners
- Future performance of any business relationships established
All business decisions and agreements remain the responsibility of the participating companies.
8.2 Force Majeure
Zatino shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations under these terms where such failure is a result of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Government actions or restrictions
- Public health emergencies or pandemic-related restrictions
- Natural disasters or severe weather conditions
- Civil unrest or political instability
- Transportation strikes or disruptions
In such cases, Zatino will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the programme or provide alternative arrangements.
8.3 Insurance
Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive business travel insurance that covers:
- Medical expenses and emergency repatriation
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Personal belongings and business equipment
- Personal liability
9. Data Protection and Confidentiality
9.1 Data Usage
Zatino will collect and process participant data for the following purposes:
- Facilitating business matchmaking and introductions
- Arranging appropriate business meetings
- Managing programme logistics and arrangements
- Providing follow-up business support
- Communications related to the programme
9.2 Confidentiality
Zatino will:
- Treat all business information provided as confidential
- Share participant information only with potential business partners and relevant officials
- Not disclose sensitive business information without explicit permission
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect participant data
Participants acknowledge that some business information must be shared with potential Chinese partners to facilitate meaningful business connections.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
